September news update . . . We now have drums, percussion, guitar and vocals tracks for the fourteen new songs on the bossa nova project! Next week, we’ll be going into the studio with our longtime producer Brad Jones to do overdubs and start the next phase of the record. We’re hoping to finish before the end of the year.
Other exciting tidbits: “Tender Love,” a song I wrote with Jill Sobule and Robin Eaton, will be featured on an episode of this season’s The L Word. . . and “Benny’s Grave,” a song that Molly and I wrote together for the first Swan Dive album, will be used in a Samsung commercial in Korea.
